Acute Vaginitis

Acute vaginitis is an inflammation or infection of the vagina and may include symptoms like vulvar or vaginal itching, burning, irritation, pain with intercourse, and abnormal vaginal odor and/or discharge. The most common causes of acute vaginitis are bacterial vaginosis, vaginal candidiasis, and trichomonas.
